The free trial lets guests and free accounts run Clef or Clef-flash, one model at a time. You can make up to five attempts a day per internet connection, resetting at midnight UTC. Attempts count even if a model cannot finish. Free availability is limited by our shared $5 monthly trial budget. Recorded examples remain available when the trial is full and are clearly labeled.
The subscription costs US$9.90 per month, plus any taxes shown at checkout. Each paid month unlocks all available models and includes 30,000 credits. You can run one to three selected models. Unused monthly credits expire at the end of their original billing period.
Credits cover model usage. One credit corresponds to US$0.0001 of model input-token charges at the rate shown for the selected model. ClefBench does not accept user-provided model API keys.
Before a run, we show estimated usage and reserve a conservative maximum from your available credits. Each successful model is charged from the input-token count returned by its provider and the rate fixed when the run started, rounded up to a whole credit with a minimum of 1 credit per model. Multiple selected models are charged separately and added together. Failed models use no credits. Each model’s charge is capped at its reserved maximum; any excess is absorbed by ClefBench. Estimates are not exact token counts. Your available balance shows whole credits you can spend.
Unused holds return once to their original billing period. Returns do not extend expiry or transfer credits to a later period. Unfinished runs release their holds automatically; late results cannot cause a second charge. We do not automatically retry or switch models. Limits on task length, frequency and simultaneous use apply. Billing activity records credits, models and token counts, not private task text or answers.
Losing your connection does not always mean a comparison failed. Subscribers can restore a result for ten minutes without another charge. Paid sharing is off by default; there is no personal long-term history.
Sharing is a condition of free access for guests and free accounts. The sharing checkbox is checked and cannot be changed; by running, you permit ClefBench to save your task, questions and model answers for review and display them publicly after approval. Subscribers have sharing off by default and may turn it on. Shared content is saved for 30 days. Submit only material you have the right to publish, without personal or confidential information.
Approved submissions remain visible until removed. Unpublished content expires after 30 days, including 30 days after rejection or removal from public display. We may reject or remove submissions. Review is not an endorsement of model accuracy. Contact support about removal requests. See the privacy policy for details.
Canceling stops the next renewal. Your paid access and remaining credits continue until the current paid month ends, unless the payment is refunded or access is suspended for an applicable reason. A failed renewal does not add credits or extend access. Cancel from billing settings, or contact support if cancellation cannot be confirmed.
You may request a full refund of your first subscription payment within seven days if you have not consumed credits for successful model inference. Contact support with your account email and invoice number. Do not send access keys or card numbers.
Used subscriptions and renewals are reviewed for billing mistakes, undelivered service and other applicable circumstances. Your statutory rights are unaffected. A confirmed full refund ends access for the corresponding paid month. Returning unused reserved credits is separate from refunding the subscription payment.
The 30,000-credit allowance applies to new and renewed billing periods after this update; previously granted allowances remain unchanged until renewal. Earlier charges and runs already reserved under the previous rounding policy remain unchanged.
Only submit information you are allowed to share with the named providers. Do not bypass limits, misuse accounts or expose access keys. Model answers can be wrong; important decisions need suitable human review. Our benchmark results describe a small set of invented examples, not every possible task. Community contributions are separate, user-submitted examples.
Keep your account secure. We may restrict abusive use and will work through support on service interruptions and billing disputes. Review any changes to subscription terms before a new purchase or renewal.
